Looks like NMDC, Abu Dhabi is on a winning streak in Egypt bagging their third project in a row.

The present being the dredging works project at the entrance to the navigation channel and the trench of the quay wall in Safaga Port in Egypt valued at around AED 79 million ($22 million).

The project is expected to be carried out over eight months, according to a statutory disclosure made to the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange today.

It is noteworthy to mention that in August, the company won an AED 290 million project to deepen and develop the sea lane of Egypt’s Damietta Port.

In August 2021, The National Marine Dredging Co (NMDC) was awarded a project to deepen and develop the sea lane of Egypt’s Damietta Port and the contract was valued at AED 290 million. The project is still ongoing and is expected to be completed towards the end of 2022.

In September 2020, NMDC was awarded a project worth around AED 600 million ($163 million) to expand Lake Manzala in Egypt.
